TransLink is offering a special New Year's Eve gift to Metro Vancouver residents: free transit! From 5 p.m. on December 31st until 5 a.m. on January 1st, all TransLink services will be available at no cost.
This means customers can travel on buses, SkyTrain, SeaBus, and NightBus without tapping their Compass Cards or using other payment methods. However, those starting their trips before 5 p.m. should still tap out normally to ensure accurate fare calculations.
